The powerful Excel spreadsheet app lets you create, view, edit, and share your files with others quickly and easily. It also lets you view and edit workbooks attached to email messages. Work in accounting, auditing, finance, or other fields, with anyone, anywhere with confidence.
To open a file like a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet in Numbers for iOS, tap the file in the spreadsheet manager. If you don’t see the spreadsheet manager, tap Spreadsheets (on an iPad) or (on an iPhone or iPod touch), then tap the file that you want to open.
If a file is dimmed, it’s not in a compatible format. You can also open a file in Numbers from a different app like the Files app, or from an email:. Open the other app, then select the spreadsheet or attachment.
Tap Copy to Numbers. The original file remains intact. After the file opens, you might get a message that the file was last edited in an app other than the most recent version of Numbers for iOS. Tap Done to open the file in Numbers.
Open the Numbers spreadsheet that you want to convert. Choose File Export To, then select the format. In the window that appears, you can choose a different format or set up any additional options. For example, you can require a password to open an exported PDF, or choose the format for an exported Excel spreadsheet. Click Next.
Enter a name for your file and select a folder to save it to. Click Export. To send a file in a specific format through Mail, Messages, AirDrop, or Notes, choose Share Send a Copy, choose how you want to send the spreadsheet, then choose a format. Course Transcript - Voiceover Hi, I'm Curt Frye. Welcome to Excel for Mac 2016 Essential Training.
In this course, I will teach you all of the skills you need to use Excel 2016 effectively, whether you're an experienced user upgrading from an earlier version, or someone who is new to Excel. I'll start by showing you how to run Excel, how to navigate the program to use your interface, and how to get help within the program or online. Then, I'll teach you how to manage your workbooks and the data they contain, such as by entering data quickly, adding end to leading worksheets, and by sorting and filtering your data so you can focus on just the information you need to make a decision. I'll teach you some slightly more advanced techniques that will let you summarize your data visually using charts, work with external data, manage images and shapes, and even automate routine tasks using macros. In short, I'll show you everything you need to know so you can use Excel 2016 effectively. Thanks again for. Practice while you learn with exercise files.
